![]() ![]() It seriously stacks up againts guitars twice the price. This is the best I could find for the money. The only other guitars I was considering were the seagull line but I did not like the look of them. all in all a beautifully constructed instrument. One problem that I had with it was the fishman pickup was a little warped so it did not snap in correctly on one side but that is not fault of carvin and it still works fine regardless. All in all this guitars sound is one of the best I could find for this price( mind you it does list at 1100) In fact, on the bolt kit, I deepened the lower cutaway and the tummy cut for better access and more comfort before finishing it. The bodies are rather generic, i.e., the tummy cut and contours are shallow. It is still lacking a little in the low end but that is comparing it to guitars 2-3 times its price. Neck and fret work on the Carvins are excellent, close to the Suhrs and superior to the Ibanez. this guitar stands up to it and at only half the price. I ususally play a martin small bodied jumbo which has good projectiong and good bass. If I had ordered them from Carvin - it would have saved me 10 from buying them at. As a player in a rock cover band - I have straplocks on all my guitars. I noticed straight away that I had forgot to include straplocks. The fit and the finish were all very impressive. This guitar has a very crisp sound to it. The guitar was still nearly in tune - following the trip across the country. The final thing and most importantly is the sound. This guitar felt like an electric the strings were so low. I know that these are made in korea but the quality control is amazing. When I bought a guitar for a total of $600 (guiar, hard case and shipping inc.)I did not expect such a beautiful guitar. When I first received this guitar I could not help but look in awe at the beauty of it. I found that they are only available factory direct which cuts the price in half. I saw this guitar in a guitar buyers guide mag and checked into it. I at every intermidiant guitar I could find that was below $500. that's just good customer service.I was interested in getting a new acoustic because my first one was not getting better but I was. ![]() The 59 was head-and-shoulders above the M22V in my DC127. C22J - Best neck pickup Carvin makes (very nice with the active bass and treble tweaked on Carvins that have it), but still falls short of my benchmark, the Duncan 59N. ![]() If you get a "snowflake" finish, but the overall quality is poor, they should still stand by their product. M22N - Improvement over the M22N, but still not thick enough for me. PRS, G&L, and Heritage (biased, yes but that's who I've got experience with) handle their customers very very well. Any experience out there with the Carvin guitars Any response to selling the Schecter I welcome your thoughts. Apple, for me, has been astonishingly good. It's how they handle that lemon device that matters. Find the best selection of Carvin Guitars at Guitar Center at the guaranteed lowest prices and free shipping. I think if I ever got one Id want the rounded one (old school Id probably want a white one with a Kahler. It's not that Apple failed the customer with a dead or shit device. Does the Carvin website have a forum There were two V220s, one with rounded edges and one with sharp edges and angled bevels. You can have a ton of amazing MacBooks, iPhones, whatever, and yet you'll most definitely get a lemon shitbox. I've also seen a few Suhrs and Andersons (and even a Grosh) and Kiesel just isn't even remotely on the same level. Don't even compare Kiesel to Core PRS, G&L, or American Fender. Click to expand.Playing devil's devil's advocate, I've seen A LOT of Core, S2, and SE PRS guitars, and Kiesel's been making mistakes I don't see on even SE level guitars. ![]()
